I think the worst baby name ever just has to be "Audio Science". Shannon Sossamon (Coraline on "Moonlight") gave that name to her son. O.o

I can't even begin to explain it.

And, honestly...what does she call him on a daily basis? Like for dinner? Audio! Dinner!

I went to school with some real winners that this reminded me of... Merica, January, July, Liberty, etc.... thankfully mutilated spellings were the generation after me for the most part. I babysat the kids with those. Though there was a family with 4 girls I grew up with, and all of their names were off from a normal spelling by one letter. They carried the tradition on to their kids, gods help us. They just now had their first normally-spelled name in the family.

The person responsible for that blog should have gone to school with me. Some of my classmates had rather tragic names. I won't mention them to protect the innocent and guilty.

I think the worst name I ever saw, was someone mentioning in an LJ community a few years ago how they'd named their baby Vanilla Skyy (after the vodka). Maybe not the worst name, but pretty bad.
