I have next door neighbors that have three generations under one roof. I also think they are Filipino, but I've never been entirely sure.

The youngest generation is one wee girl, who was barely toddling around when they moved in here. She's now school-age, incredibly cute...and a mailbox fairy.

I kid you not. We caught her in the act tonight. She puts kid art in our mailbox and then runs and hides.

I adore kid art. You can give me your kid's art and I will display it proudly in my office, on my refrigerator....

The pieces she left us say things like "I love you neighbor" on them. *swirly liddle hearts*

I hope they never move away.

You are so lucky. The last time a neighbor kid did something that made my day, he brought his new puppy to show me when I was sitting outside. And that was years ago. Not fair.

That's SO cool!
After years of no kids near we have a family next door with three gens in the house as well. Maternally Chinese, the Dad is EA. Triplets who were about six when they moved in.
Their laughter is a tonic.
(the last neighbor we had with kids was a psycho hose beast who was constantly screaming obscenities at the kids and there was almost never any laughter or joy it seemed.)
