Back in January, an old high school chum came to our wedding reception at Mom's house. She recounted how she and her daughter had missed out seeing the Lion King due to sucky directions ala MapBlast. $200 seats, too. Bye-bye.

I told her I'd take them and this time, they'd see the show.

Today's the day. Never let it be said I can't remember shit.

I'm still scratching my head this morning over my sister - but then, this is nothing new, I've been doing that most of this year.

I'd nail it to something, except I keep getting bowled over. I mention United - I get shouted down because I have something against Viva. Huh? Oh, yeah. Viva has worked most of her adult life for these gooners and is likely to see her retirement get flushed. And I'm happy about this?

My only defense is not to be there when the blow is thrown, I guess. Mom keeps saying I did most of the Thanksgiving cooking. Well, if I did, it was because nobody else could - sheesh. Yeah, I work and drive six hours a day - I got the work done anyway, didn't I?

Yeah, I'm a wall-eyed idiot. I also keep remembering how stressed they are over there. I can also remember how stressed I have been over here, and refrained from being a bitch.

*sigh* Family. *looks skyward* You sure know how to pick 'em!

Who the hell needs a minefield? I have Christmas with my sister to get through.
