If you catch me identifying 'conservatives' the same way these folks identify 'liberals.'

'Cos it just ain't right.

You know why, right? Look at the assumptions. You can't be safe with a 'liberal.' It's that old assumption machine - the one I won't put fuel into?

Plain vanilla paranoia. And guess how it got there.

Won't do it. Won't have anything to do with it.

I might warn folks that might not mesh well on issues like gay marriage, abortion and the like - if I feel they might actual take physical damage if someone is going to disagree with their stance on those issues.

The people who will might do the damage? Nope. You get to live in this world, and deal with what you find. You act like a thug, you get to be dealt with like a thug. Regardless of your position on the political spectrum.

*reads some more* This makes me sad. It reads like they're going safe house to safe house. Take a look at this campaign site. I'm erriely reminded of the Marcos regime in the 60's...I did NOT need that sidetrip, thanks brain.

Here - let me employ the power of suggestion.

You're in America. All you have to do to find out anything is ask. Assume nothing. Question authority - and you still have the freedom to do these things of your own free will.

You have nothing to fear. But fear itself. And all the harm THAT can do, and that's my two cents.

When I was going to college I couldn't stand the Young Republicans because they had no respect for other peoples opinions. I see nothing has changed....

Get too far to the extreme on any "side" and you'll find blind intolerance for "the other side".

Even though I'm also a Republican, when I was in college I couldn't stand the Young Republicans either; they were elitist pricks, which sicken me. But I'm sure the same is true on the other end.
