Birthday Friday -

Locals, pay attention. This year it is all about the eating.

Friday is actually my birthday - but the owner of the restaurant chosen for that night also owns a few other locations in town - and Saturday, they're having a celebration of their own and making the BEST ramen in town for $3 a pop, so the natural course of events is taking over.

Yakitori on Friday. Here. Aiming for 7:00 PM.

Ramen on Saturday. Here. Maybe a tad earier - depends. Need to get more details on the anniversary special.

Shabu-Shabu on Sunday. Here. Gotta wait for Jim to get home from work - so probably 7 or so again.

You can make it, show up. Matter of fact, tell me now and I'll try to get reservations for what I can. Ramen is a gimme - no effing way with the special on. Expect a wait and live entertainment anyway we can make it happen.

Buuut - don't feel obligated. It's a lean year and just having friendly faces around will be enough. I have a job - that's present enough this year.

Yeah. The roots were long and deep on the top 2. They had to cut gum cause the top right was not exposed at all. The pain is horrid.

But! This too shall pass, and then there will be no more cheek biting.
