Reintroduce the concept of the 'no cash night.'

Or the IOU. A favor for a favor - put together a coupon or two for giving away. "I'll mow your lawn" "I'll run you an errand"

Throw a 'Stone Soup' party.

Have a cookie swap.

Make a date for a board games night. Make tea.

But the best part?

Make plans for after the holidays - heck, print a calendar and start making dates with it.

We ran out of room on the calendar, but we often throw a party called "Wishmas", in which we give each other wishes and made cards out of our old craft supplies, and promised each other things like "A rainbow glitter pony that would eat your landlord" or "a new set of lungs" and so on.
