Relisting -
Jun. 30th, 2009 01:43 pmThe mix I listed in this entry not workee so much.
So here. Pick up this one instead.
From the original post:
You've heard of TJ and Amal, right? My good friend
gallo_de_pelea's pet project - they keep her up nights, hardly shutting up long enough for her to get their stories down to paper...and I hope someday, they'll be on store shelves and paying for her retirement someday.
They're really good boys.
One of the things they tend to do is create soundtracks in their wake, however.
And yeah, I got sucked in. At least three of the tunes on the list would not let me stop working on the mix...so here it is, finally done.
*facesmacks* At least four of the songs are almost as old as I am - and three of them are off one album. A really GOOD album, but still -
This has to be the most laid back mix I've ever heard relative to the project. It's clearly for driving through the night when there isn't much to talk about and plenty to ponder. I remember lots of larks out at night (pick a direction, start driving - have pie, then go home. Arrive home about 3:00 AM the next morning) and this assortment reminds me of the mixtapes we used to make.
*clears throat* This was also when CB radios still worked, I might add.
So here goes - TJ & Amal - Love is Stupid, Funny...and Incredible.
Hope you like it - and I assure you, you'll enjoy the comic even more.
*Does not contain Michael Jackson either.
