Why San Francisco HATES Los Angeles.

Stow, a father of two from Santa Cruz, remained in a medically induced coma at Los Angeles County-USC Medical Center on Tuesday, according to a spokewoman for the hospital.

Police said Stow was one of three Giants fans attacked after Thursday's game by two men dressed in Dodgers clothing. The men kicked and punched the victims, shouting expletives about the Giants as they delivered the blows, according to police. Police said the attack was unprovoked.

Reward, sheeyit. I find these guys, you can have 'em - FOR FREE.

Yeah.. I actually have a friend (Giants fan) who went down there for one of the games, too, all decked out in his Giants gear, etc. Luckily, he came back ok..

I've been sooooo very cranky about this ever since I heard about it.

And what really bugs me? How long it took the Dodgers and LA to step up and do anything financially. And the reward is a maybe - I don't see them contributing to that poor guy's medical bills.

And I fear what may happen if this isn't well resolved by the time the Dodgers play us up here.

California is a rather unique place, and LA, SD and SF are a sort of trifecta in the world of big cities.

San Diego is where all the old people, conservatives and former military go. It's where you go when you just want things to work a certain way, with no surprises. The buses always work, the Wienerschnitzel has always been on Rosecrans and Oliphant, and always will be.

San Francisco is where the young, liberal and adventurous go to make their fortunes or find their souls. Every day is something new and exciting, either for good or for bad, and you'll never be bored a single day in your life.

Los Angeles is a MEAT GRINDER.

It doesn't give a fuck who you are, or where you came from. You are nothing but a chunk of meat, slowly sliding down the chute and into the chopping blades.

You've got three directions?

One, jump out of the hopper and get tossed either north or south? Two, jump DOWN into the blades and choke them so bad they clog, then make the place your bitch. Or three, delude yourself that you can do this, and slowly sink into the blades until you're nothing but hamburger.
