Date: 2003-04-27 02:14 pm (UTC)Of course, I don't live IN Seattle; I live out in the country, across the Sound from Seattle. West of Seattle, where I have a terrific view of Mount Rainier but am safe from any future mudflow.
If you like hills and trees, you'd love it here, too. We have a lot of both. We also have amazingly good salmon, the inestimable Pike Place Market, nice people, earthquakes, mountains (some of which are volcanic), the Sound, the only temperate rain forest in the world (on the Olympic Peninsula), good ski areas about 2 hours outside Seattle, deep blue skies, good water, and more espresso stands per capita than anywhere else I've ever been.
