I think I might make a new record for this program - I'll make sure I have all the supporting paperwork with me.

You need shoes? Well, let me be your elf this year for Christmas. 50% off anything in the store, with some exceptions, as long as I'm there when you check out.

There is a limit of 33 pairs of shoes. The shoes have to be over $20. Anything else is cool.

However, due to time constraints, I'm going to set this for lunch time - and I'll go to the store where most of you can get to it. I'm coming up to see [livejournal.com profile] ceolyn and [livejournal.com profile] silverkun and anyone else they want me to see - and they've made plans for Friday night, and they come first.

Lunch time is about 11:00 and can go until three-ish or so. If you can't make it, know what you want, and can pick it up later? Let me know. I'll have all my shopping done by then and can use something to do. Trust me.

Please select which store works best for you - I need to know where I should go. These are Skechers company stores.

[Poll #626593]

No, I'm not making a cent on this. These shoemaker's children will not go barefoot. Not if I can help it.

Trying to get caught up. Christmas is always a deadline. Fun, but deadlines. You push it off, you don't do it that year.

This year, we're having to pass on all of our live musical performances, which leaves my season feeling very bare. And since I don't commute through Union Station anymore, I don't even get to enjoy the live Salvation Army Band that plays there (and wants money in the kettle, of course) anymore. I love live music. I love Christmas music a whole fekking lot - and I'm skipping it this year. No money.

Damn, they were good. About five pieces of brass, and playing in the back, they sounded like three times more. And no, they aren't getting a cent this year. There are a lot of good reasons why not. The simple lack of cash is reason one, the other that I can find more Christian ways to use the funds another.

No, I haven't seen Serenity. No, I haven't seen Harry Potter. No, I haven't - skip it.

[livejournal.com profile] ceolyn is taking care of TLWW for Friday - but it might get pushed to Saturday. Hope it can - doing something like that without them kind of takes the fun out of it. And...stuff.

There is a really good sushi joint down the street - found by accident, stumbled into on a lark. Have to go back soon. Soon. Soon, the penury will be over....

And you want to be rich again, why?

Hey, anyone want to trade Sims2 lots for Christmas? I think some of the most fun I've had lately is playing other people's "challenges" -

Mom called yesterday, just to check in and reports feeling much better. I'll take it - even with all the old pokes in very tender places about Medications You Have to Stock When You Have Renal Disease. Like sorbitol. Who has it, who will sell it to you and why you want it. (And UGH, it's narsty to boot.)

You know, I love Berkeley. I should try to spend a day there someday. Or so. I miss the little fun stores and crap.

Banned Xbox 360 Commercial. Looks like it was shot at LA Union - with a whole bunch of VERY funny people. Most excellent.

*snaps fingers* Time to Advantage the pets again! Crap.

Time to go get the rest of the weekly tasks done - and get going on the holiday projects. Mm. Lunch. Lunch first. Then projects.

(WTF weather? Sunny and clear and cold. Gimme break.)

I've installed a Radeon 9200 video card in my PC, and life is thus good.

It works, it works perfectly - and I've already updated the drivers and I did it in one pass. Touch me, I'm golden.

Love it when something this simple, remains this simple.

Geek is me. Hooray!
