You know, after reading entry after entry about the means used to Leave Town, both in Texas and Louisiana in the path of the hurricanes - that private pilot's license sounds like a pretty damn good plan in case we have to leave this place in a hurry.

Because, well. I know the roads available here. Trust me. I'd do better with a stagecoach.

*laughs* No - we're lucky to have the earthbound variety, but Jim's had some private pilot-type experience, thanks to his *cough* Dad. (Thanks Dad, for handing him his logbook at 14 and completely dropping the ball forever after....)
