I swear, I thought the cat was going to be the spaz case. Nope.

Last night, Jim washed her. I washed her the last time, I thinks she's due to get abuse from someone besides me for a change.

He must have spent an hour with her. Less than an hour after that, I begin checking and she's got fleas. The e-collar had gone back on her when I got home from work yesterday when I found bleeding raw patches - but with the addition of finding little itty bitty bloodsuckers, some thing more is needed.

But I did powder the hot spots and this morning, they're much better - but the collar stays on and she has an appointment this afternoon.

This dog sees her doctor more often than anyone else in the house. 9_9

Okra fell through last night when I found that the corn meal was fuXX0Rd. Was wondering where those mealworm moths were coming from. Gack. Good thing today is trash day - sayoNAra!

Supremely unmotivated today. Weather gorgeous. Want to be sleeping under a tree somewhere.

Weekend here. Yaaayyy weekend. House and yardwork to catch up on. Have found the drill - must hang pictures and shelves. MUST.

EDIT: SUCK. I suck. The dog has the fleas and is taking up all my spare maternal insticts....the DOG! I really ought to read these things more carefully before I post them. Bah.

1. What time do you wake up on weekday mornings?

No later than 6:00, lately. Alarms set for 6:30 and 7:30 and I'm up long before they go off.

2. Do you sleep in on the weekends? How late?

Not usually - I'm programmed to get up. I have to be up all night Saturday to sleep in Sunday.

3. Aside from waking up, what is the first thing you do in the morning?

Mental boot check - where am I? What day is this? Where do I have to be? Did I forget anything?

4. How long does it take to get ready for your day?

I can get out the door 15 minutes after waking. I like the two hours I get right now.

5. When possible, what is your favorite place to go for breakfast?

I lurve breakfast. It's my favorite meal of the day. Favorite place...after IHOP? Japanese breakfast buffet at One Thousand Cranes in Little Tokyo.

This is useful - want to know how much it takes to rent an apartment in downtown Los Angeles?

I'm looking for a good webcam. Be right back.

but it's the middle of the night yet.

You ever wonder what it would be like to live inside a model railroad setup?

Visit Switzerland.

The vet has kitties. Cute, just the right age, two buttermilk-orange and one black with widdle white paws kittens. Guaranteed to be pest-free, current on all shots and everything.

We are going to go look at them tomorrow morning, says the Jim. We may get them all, he says.

I remind him of what more kitties in this house means. More litterboxes, more often. For starters.

We'll bring Ai-chan with us. If she freaks, no dice.

*facepalms* Sand fleas. I frickin' forgot the *&^#@suXX0RRRZ!11@!! sand fleas!

Welcome to Advantage, year-round. A shot, a prescription and we're good to go.

And I spent as much at the vet as I did at Animeigo today getting the latest UY boxset. Step down.

I'm whipped. The dog is fine.

No, I don't like whips. *falls over*

I did mention Jim is getting increasingly broody. Not moody. Broody.

No really. Watch who zeroes in on infants and little baby things.

It would be something to want kids and be female.

It has got to suck to want kids and be a guy.

With a practical wife.
